It was an exceptionally successful weekend for the riders of BarGee Farms at the Chagrin Valley Farms March ‘A’ show in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
Sara Ladley’s ‘Skara Glen’s Intense’ took home the championship in the 3’3″ Performance Hunter division with Barbara Bancroft in the irons early on in the week, after winning two of the four over-fences classes and placing 2nd in the handy round.
Bancroft also garnered reserve champion honors in the Medium Schooling Jumper division with her own ‘Acorn’ and consistent ribbons with ‘The Outlier’ in the 3′ Pre-Green Hunters.
Over the weekend, Debra Ladley riding her own ‘Valentino’ topped a competitive 2’6″ Schooling Hunter class to win first place out of 18 entries. Deb and Valentino also placed 3rd in the Non-Professional Hunter division out of 17.
‘Skara Glen’s Palenque’ and owner/rider Sara Ladley took home championship honors in the Non-Professional Hunter division after winning both over-fences classes.
Madi Grady rode her own ‘Tell Me’ to a win in the Child/Adult Jumper division on Saturday morning, and also earned a 3rd place finish in a competitive NAL/WIHS Jumper Classic.
Sara and ‘Skara Glen’s Palenque’ also had a successful weekend in the Adult Amateur Hunter division, topping the Ariat medal with a score of 77, winning the NAL/WIHS Classic with a combined score of 156, and earning the reserve championship in the division with 1st and 2nd place honors over fences.
Finally, Sara Ladley and ‘Skara Glen’s Intense’ topped a class in a competitive combined Jr/AO Hunter division out of 10 entries and earned 3rd place honors in the Jr/AO Classic with a combined score of 155.
